I’m so glad you are here.

I feel like the most unlikely person to be writing and teaching about Jesus. I’ll never forget years ago when a woman came up to me at church after reading my blog and told me that someday I would be writing devotionals. I took the compliment but in my head I was thinking, “Lady, I have never even read a devotional, let alone will I ever write one.”

God knew though, and I’m sure that made him laugh.

I have experienced great loss in my life, with losing both of my parents to long illnesses. I was always told how strong I was, but it wasn’t until my strength was no longer enough to keep it all together that I finally surrendered to Jesus. Jesus is the best thing to ever happen to me.

It took years of healing, but Jesus led me on path to freedom and coming back to the life. I traded my weakness for His strength, my sorrow for His joy, and my chains for His freedom! And now my heart’s desire is to take everyone along with me! I want you to know the peace and joy and freedom that I now know.

Things about me that you must know.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Trevor. We met in the 5th grade. We have three kids, Jasper, Ellis, and Crosby.
